Beyond the operating room, Dr. Swanit Deshpande is an avid sportsman and a passionate advocate for physician wellness through sports. He is the Founder of the Indian Medical Tennis Society (IMTS), has represented India at the World Medical Tennis Society (WMTS), and is a National Medical Games medalist. He captained the MUHS tennis team for four consecutive years from 2011 to 2014, has played table tennis at state level, and was a state-level swimming athlete during school. A firm believer in lifelong learning, discipline and holistic well-being, he brings the same dedication, precision and perseverance from the tennis court into his medical practice, helping patients achieve better health with confidence and compassion.
