— Our Practice —
A family. A hospital.
One story.
In nineteen ninety-four, Dr. Hemant and Dr. Priti Deshpande opened a small hospital in Patwardhan Chowk, Ahilyanagar (then Ahmednagar) — one where patients would be known by name.
Three decades on, that hospital has six doctors across two generations, eleven departments, a modular operating theatre, holmium laser systems, an IVF centre — but the same idea: every patient is part of our family.
We didn't grow because we wanted a bigger hospital. We grew because our patients were tired of being sent to a different specialist, across town, every time something new came up.

When you walk in at Patwardhan Chowk today, you'll meet a surgeon who has operated on your neighbours for three decades; the same gynaecologist who saw your mother through her pregnancies; and a urologist and a retina surgeon who trained in Mumbai, the UK and the US, and chose to bring it all back home — because the people of Ahilyanagar deserved it.
The principle is plain. We treat every patient as family — because they really are. And we stay honest — about costs, about risks, about what we can and cannot do — because trust is the most important thing we have.
