In 1994, Dr. Hemant Deshpande and Dr. Priti Deshpande established a small hospital in Patwardhan Chowk, Ahilyanagar (formerly Ahmednagar), built on a simple belief: every patient deserves modern and scientific treatment with compassion, respect, and personal attention.

More than three decades later, that vision has grown into a multispeciality hospital led by two generations of the Deshpande family. Today, six specialist doctors, having achieved academic excellence from global institutes, work together across multiple departments, supported by advanced technology including a modular operating theatre, laser and microscopic surgeries and an IVF centre.

Yet one thing has never changed. We still believe that healthcare is personal. Every patient who walks through our doors is treated not as a case number, but as a member of our extended family.

Our hospital did not expand simply to become bigger. It grew because our patients wanted comprehensive care under one roof — without the inconvenience of travelling across the city to consult different specialists. We built a place where expertise comes together, so patients can focus on what matters most: getting better.

For more than thirty years, families in Ahilyanagar have trusted Dr. Hemant Deshpande and Dr. Priti Deshpande through life's defining moments — from major surgery to the birth of a child. Today, that legacy continues with the next generation of specialists, each trained at leading institutions in India and abroad, yet united by a shared decision to bring their knowledge and experience back home.

As our hospital has grown, so too have the services we offer. Alongside established departments in general surgery and obstetrics & gynaecology, we now provide specialised care in urology, andrology, female urology, fertility medicine, and vitreoretinal surgery — allowing patients to access advanced treatment without leaving Ahilyanagar.

What has never changed is the way we practise medicine. We believe in listening before advising, explaining before treating, and being honest about what is — and is not — the right course of action.
